I started Physical Therapy with Tim approximately 2 years ago. When I started with him I had been through numerous medical issues, and just performing ADL’s was next to impossible. I was weak, had no endurance, and was depressed. I was in a constant pain. I was unable to leave my home, so Tim would come to me. He eventually got me where I could come to him. Once I started coming to NSPT I again had a lack of self-esteem, but Tim and his staff has been there session by session to tell me I could and that I’m doing a good job. ADL’s have not only gotten doable, but easier. I thank God daily that I met Tim and his staff. They have been great friends and encouragers.

Knee surgery was tough. Every exercise was hard and it hurt! But the creativity of the way exercises were done made it tolerable. The main emphasis was not on “how far can the knee bend” but strengthening, and being able to resume daily activities. Also, the staff encouraged me and praised my “little steps.”
Now I am able to walk long distances, do my gardening and feel better. Also I am stronger, more flexible and my knee hasn’t felt this good in over a decade.
Thank you for making my recovery a little easier.
Having lost some weight and increasing my strength, I have noticed an increase in functionality. Having difficulty last fall getting into and especially out of my kayak, I was pleased to experience significantly more ease during these tasks this spring. I have increased my daily activity with improved endurance.
The therapy that was given to me from Tim was great, if I ever need a therapist again I will go to North Summit Physical Therapy.

My left shoulder (Rotator Cuff) made my life miserable. The information, knowledge, and personal attention gave me the desire to work toward a day when the pain would leave and the mobility would return. I was not only encouraged but praised which makes one not only continue but strive to go one step above and beyond. When my PT was done, I was actually sad as I was saying “goodbye” to people who became friends. If PT becomes necessary in the future…for whatever reason, I would go back in a flash. My active life has returned.
Before I started P.T. I could not walk – I had been in a wheelchair and used a walker. I had suffered a serious injury.
Tim came to my apartment (I had 5 steps with no rail) and got my feet out of the door.
I was frightened at first but his care helped me so much.
I miss not being able to continue at NSPT.

Although my problems remain, they have diminished enough that I am able to enjoy activities like kayaking and playing golf more than before my care.
Two years ago, I was a mere junior in high school, and I partially tore my PCL. I first met Tim that day, 4/24/08, when he was a part time AT for Aurora. A little over two years later, I have now been a patient and intern for Tim, and am now currently an employee. I am now fully healed, all thanks to Tim. Throughout the two years I have known him, I have thoroughly enjoyed our time together. His love for the job – which I have learned through his care and teaching – makes him a great physical therapist. I truly felt that he cared about my wellbeing, and he always went the extra mile to help me out. Even though I am a teenager, he always treated me with the respect of an elder. I gained much more than just good health as a patient; I also gained a friendship and a mentor. Tim always makes me feel comfortable, and I respect and admire the caring way in which he treats every single one of his patients. It has been a pleasure being with Tim, and I recommend him to everyone I know. I look forward to working with him, and continuing to broaden my country music horizons at NSPT.

I am very grateful and thankful for the time I have spent participating in Metabolic RX Therapy offered at North Summit Physical Therapy. As a result of participating in the program for 6 ½ months, I have increased my mobility, function, and independence. I have also slimmed down 2 dress sizes, losing 8 pounds and counting. I highly recommend participating in Metabolic RX Therapy. The program focuses on cardio fitness and strength training and is designed specifically for you.
As a participant, I was able to track my weight by stepping on the scale twice a month to weigh in. A nutritional and exercise plan was designed for my health needs and goals. Before I met Tim Alesnik and started participating in the Metabolic RX Therapy program, I was 200 pounds, contending with constant joint pain, and spending the majority of each day in my powered wheel chair because of a life-long physical disability, Cerebral Palsy. I am no longer contending with the joint pain I felt and I am able to walk on my arm crutches around my home without being out of breath or feeling as if I will fall.
Tim, thank you for helping me achieve my physical therapy goals. I will never forget you. You are so kind and generous. You really take the time to get to know your patients and help them work beyond their potential. You have changed my life and given me the tools to be healthy and stay healthy for life. God Bless you.
Sincerely,
